I was at home one day looking through all my vellum quotes of words
with meanings. Just like a mini dictionary when I came across this word...

Happiness

I read it over and over, about 3 times until I realized my recent
conversation I had, Had with my mother in law.

So I decided to create a mothers day card idea using this word
"Happiness" that I knew meant a lot to my courage's mother
in law at that time, and to everyone everywhere. We should all
have happiness, even if your having a bad day!

Let's Begin creating this very creative Mothers Day card idea...

Creative Mother’s Day card ideas #02

“Homemade Mother‘s Card”

Mothers day card idea Supplies:

• Card stock 5x7, Used blank black card (you can create one using white construction paper)

• Decorated paper of your choice, in this example we used a brown paper with one flower design on the right hand side.Tip:maybe you would like to consider one of your mothers favorite colors or a design she might like.

• Black Magic paper green and blue layer

• Rub-on Happy Mother’s Day in white, substitute by using stickers or a stamp (please remember if you decide to use a stamp make it your first step and make sure it is fully dry).

• Vellum quotation. In this example we used Happiness and it’s definition. you may substitute by printing out your quotation in your mothers favorite font style, perhaps some fun curly letters or elegant style letters…perhaps a personalized saying. Even incorporate some Mother’s Day Card verses

• 4 black photo corners (if you don’t have this on hand you can create it by using black construction paper simply cut off all 4 corners of the paper, make sure it is not unusually too big and quite even J.

• Foamies Foam sheet (any color) or you can use Pop dots.Friendly Tip:in our experience for any budget minded crafter, Foamies Foam sheets are a greater saving than buying Pop dots, even if the pop dots already have adhesive backing and foam sheets don’t (a little craft glue does the job) you have to decide your time and money investments).

How to create creative Mother’s Day card ideas #02: Homemade mother’s card front

1. Take black cardstock make sure it is 5x7 then take your Brown colored decorated paper (or the one you picked) cut it so it 4.5’’x 6.5’’ leaving a certain selected section of the decorated paper to the right.(if you don’t have a selected section of the paper you’d like to use then simply cut it and glue paper down to center of front

2. Take 4 photo corners glue it down to all 4 corners of brown (or decorated) paper

3. Take your white Happy Mother’s Day rub-on and apply it to the bottom left hand side (if you are using a decorated paper with a lot of design you may not be able to see your quote simply take a solid colored paper black or a dark color apply your rub-on cut it out into a nice square glue it on).

4. Take green black magic paper and quotation, glue quotation to black magic paper (preferably in the corner but leave enough room to consider tearing of edges) now simply tear edges toward you right around your quotation leaving a tear paper look

5. Take Foamies Foam sheet cut 2 small 1x1 squares glue 1 down to back of your tear paper piece in the center, now glue this whole piece down on blue Black Magic paper, repeating previous step (glue down leaving enough room to tear around green tears).Take other Foamies square glue to back of piece (by this time you should have a triple layer)

6. Take this whole piece glue it to the top left hand side of your card above your Happy Mother’s Day

   
   

   Tip: Take black ball point pen, in this example we used the pen to enhance our card by simply drawing curls around Happy Mother’s Day.

   1. Take white paper cut it 5x5 glue it to the inside center

      
      

      Tip: Be creative by and add anything as you wish on the inside making your Mother’s Day card even more creatively handmade … perhaps maybe an image or photo of good times spent!

      
      

   2. Even incorporate some Mother’s Day Card verses

   How to create creative Mother’s Day card Ideas envelope:

   
   

   1. simply take remainder Black Magic paper tear a medium size square, glue this down to the center of the envelope front.

   2. Take white paper cut square slightly smaller then Black Magic, glue to center of that( you can draw or write something nice in here).

      
      

      Tip: Use remainder scraps to save you even more paper and feel free to substitute size to accommodate your scraps
