More Handmade Card Making Supplies

Below are more handmade card making supplies you’ll want to add to your shopping list, look around for or might find interesting…

Some of these handmade card making supplies are basics that most of us have or have worked with.

More Supplies...

  • Paint and Brushes: Water color paints, acrylic paints, oil paints or even poster color paints and all different sized brushes. You might also want to consider stencil brushes.

  • Ruler: For measuring certain things or even using it to fold your cards if you don’t have a bone folder.

  • Pencils and Markers I love to use colored pencils for coloring in certain letters, shapes and images. Water color pencils, lead pencils for making marks, drawing images and or tracing a images. Markers are great for coloring on stamps or images. I don’t really use the markers, but it is optional.

  • Twinkling H20‘s: Great for coloring onto your rubber stamps, let them dry and then spray mist of water onto it and using it to stamp your images.

  • Embossing Powders: Regular and detailed for your rubber stamps. They come in many different colors. Clear by all is the most popular one used by many card lovers.

The Most Important card making Supply needed on anyone’s list is…

Storage

Check to see if you have some empty boxes first or with family members, friends or even co-workers before going out and buying new ones.

Tip: Buy them from Wal-mart, Fred Meyer, Dollar store even, instead of a craft store. They intend to be way more expensive.

  • Storage: I use lots of plastic storage bins for all my die-cuts, embellishments, stickers, stamps, cards, paper, everything!

If you are a serious card crafter like me, because I need to be organized for my business, consider getting storage for these also…

  • Charms

  • Card making software

  • Die cutting machines

  • Puzzles

  • Photos

  • Templates

  • Everything you can think of, keep organized
