Creative Birthday card ideas: "Colorful Strips"

This card idea is really easy to make. It can
be made for anyone...

If you only have paper on hand and nothing fancy,
let's create this idea using nothing but paper and
some fiber or string to make a bow. Don't have any
fiber or string to make a bow make it out of paper!

Creative Birthday card idea #9:

“Colorful Strips”

Approx time: 7 minutes

Supplies:

• Card stock, Used a black blank card (you can create
  one using black construction paper)

• Decorated colorful strip paper (if you don’t have this
  type of print substitute it with a print you have to
  give it a different feel, but same look)

• Plain black and white paper

• Fiber or string

• Decorated scissors

• Adhesive (I used a hot glue gun, but you can use
  any adhesive of your choice)

• Happy Birthday rub-on or you can print some off
  the computer in decorative font or you can write
  it in your own creative style.

• Hole puncher (if you don’t have one use a scissors
  to make a slip and cut a inner circle to make it look
  like a hole)

Step by step to create birthday card idea colorful strips Front:

1. Take your decorated paper of choice and cut it out using
   a straight scissors and glue it to the middle of your card
   stock. Cut it specifically to the size you like.

2. Use your rub-on happy-birthday or creative font and glue
   it on a plain black sheet of paper. Use straight scissors
   to cut around it then glue it onto a white piece of paper,
   creating a 2 tier.

3. Then use your decorative scissors and cut only the top of
   your tag and then glue it onto the middle top of your card
   stock.

4. Use another piece of decorated paper and cut it in a
   rectangular shape, so it fits on the bottom middle of your
   card stock. Once you’ve got the right size you like glue
   it down.

5. Take your hole puncher (if you don’t have one use a scissors
   to make a slip and cut a inner circle to make it look like
   a hole) and make a hole on the top right corner of your
   card stock.

6. Use any type of fibers, string, ribbon and tie a bow at
   the right hand corner.

   
   

   Tip: Don't have any fiber or string create a bow using paper.
   Cut a strip and put one end into the hole and over lap
   the other end of the strip creating a criss-cross and
   then glue it down.

How to creative creative birthday card idea Colorful strips inside:

1. Take a piece of blank white paper and cut it so it fits perfectly
   into the middle of the inside of the card stock. Use decorative
   scissors to cut only the right side edge and glue
   it down.

2. I left the inside of this card plain, but feel free to go ahead
   and add more on the inside.

Tip: Use more of your decorated paper scraps to decorate the inside.

How to create creative birthday card idea Colorful strips envelope:

1. Cut out another piece of decorated paper or if you have
   many more scraps use them. Cut a rectangle and glue it
   long ways to the left side of the envelope.

2. Use a piece of white paper and on it write to and from.
   Use straight scissors to cut around it and glue to the
   middle of envelope.

Tip: You can use any wordings for the front of your envelope.
Customize it to meet your birthday recipient the way you
want.

Remember, This is just an idea to give you a guide, Only you
know your birthday recipient! So create it how ever way you
would like to
