Creative Birthday Card Ideas: “Boxy Blue”

Creative Birthday Card Ideas: “Boxy Blue”…

I was encouraged to create this wonderful birthday
card for any dad, brother or male friends…

I’ve noticed in any store it’s always harder to find a
Birthday card for any male. So when I was done, I
taught this card will be perfect for that.

A Simple handmade card for any male friend, dad, brother
or even son!

Bring out your card supplies and let’s create this wonderful
birthday card idea: “Boxy Blue”…

Creative Birthday Card Ideas #13: “Boxy Blue”

Approx Time: 15 Minutes

Supplies

  • Card stock, used a white blank card (you can create one
    using white construction paper)

  • Plain white, blue, dark blue and tan paper

  • Decorated paper of choice

  • Regular Scissors

  • Black pen

  • Adhesive of choice

How to create creative birthday card idea Boxy Blue Front:

  1. Frist use your black pen and in your own creative font write
“Happy Birthday” on a tan piece of paper.

  2. Then take your scissors and cut around it in a shape of a
square leaving some space of color. Then take your black pen
and draw a hallow circle in each corner.

  3. Glue tan paper onto blue paper and then cut around it with
regular scissors leaving some blue space around it. Please be
sure to refer to photo above if you get stuck.

  4. Next glue it onto a decorative paper of choice and also cut
around that paper leaving a border of your decorative paper.
At this point we are creating tiers of paper to enhance our
    Happy Birthday.

  5. Then we are going to glue that block onto another piece of
tan paper and cut around it also. Still maintaining a square
with a border of different layered colors.

  6. Useing your white card stock, take a dark blue piece of paper
and cut it to fit onto your card sock leaving a white border,
    then glue it down.

  7. Then take your block of tiers and lastly glue it onto a white
piece of paper and cut around it leaving a border of white and
then take that block and glue it onto the middle of your card
    stock.

Phew!…that was a lot of layering. It must have turned out
great so far…

  1. Now we are going to use our black pen and finish up the
drawings. On the white sheet of paper draw a hallow circle in
each corner. Then Draw a big square in the middle , using the
blue square as a guide. Please refer to photo for help.

  2. Then we are going to draw a cross in all four circles,
dividing the circles into 4. Next lets draw a circle in each
corner of the inner blue paper and in all four corners of the
first blue paper. Color in all the circles of the middle blue
paper. Then draw a line from the white paper circles to the
    middle blue paper circles.

That’s it for the front of your Birthday card!

How to create creative birthday card ideas Boxy Blue Inside:

  1. Use a piece of plain dark blue paper, cut it to fit on the
inner side of your card and glue it down

  2. Then use a white piece of plain paper and cut it so it fits
directly in the inside of the card leaving dark blue as a
bordered outline. Then use your black pen and in each
corner draw a hallow circle and in the circle divide it into
    4.

How to create creative birthday card ideas Boxy Blue envelope:

  1. Use a piece of plain blue paper and cut it out into the design
of the back of the envelope.

What I did was just place the blue paper onto the back of the
envelope and imaginary cut it out to the envelope. I do not
have any specifications on how to cut it.

  2. Then I glued it down and drew 3 circles on the top flap one on
the left, middle and right. Within the circles I divided them
    into 4.

  3. Next I drew 2 circles on the bottom of the envelope and
divided them into 4. Then I drew a dotted line on the upper
top of the bottom of envelope to make it look like a stitch.
