You'll be surprised of how many card magazines and books are dedicated to your special homemade card hobby and paper crafting. You can even start your very own card making library. Below are some card making magazines and books that I've personally read or bought that I found to be inspiring and helpful to my card making ideas. Many of these books I've found at my local library and you can borrow them for free! As my budget for making homemade cards are low. I find that the public library has a huge resourceful area just on greeting cards alone. As well as paper crafting, holiday greeting cards and scrapbooks. I'll be honest I'd hardly turn to the library as a resource until i found these amazing craft books to use. Now I'm a regular. So if you are considering looking for ideas and don't want to spend any money to purchase craft books or subscribe to crafty magazines for a monthly price consider using your local library. Most libraries have a huge selection to chose from. Not only books, but also magazine back issues and local craft event newsletters that you could browse through. Also consider scrapbooking books for ideas. They can give you great inspirations too and you could use some of those ideas on your own handmade cards.
